The Norwin Percussion Ensemble is comprised of about two dozen percussion students in grades 9-12, who also perform with the Marching Band, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band.  

During their concert each April, the Norwin Percussion Ensemble performs a variety of contemporary percussion literature for both large and small ensembles. 

While this ensemble does sometimes rehearse during the school day, the majority of the rehearsal time takes place after school.  

Recent accomplishments include invitations to perform at the PMEA State Conference (2009, 2013, and 2016) and the NAfME Eastern Division Conference (2011).  

The Ensemble is under the direction of Mr. Brandon Kandrack.
