Wind Ensemble

The Wind Ensemble is the premiere concert group at Norwin H.S. The Wind Ensemble performs the latest wind literature as well as the standards from the Wind Band repetoire. It is an ensemble which calls upon the strictest disciplines possible. The group is comprised of the top musicians within the Norwin Band and is decided upon by an audition process. The Wind Ensemble can be seen performing at the Winter Concert, the Spring Concert, and the Spring PMEA Adjudication Festival. In the PMEA Music Performance Assessments the Wind Ensemble has received Superior ratings since 2008. The Wind Ensemble was invited to perform at the 2011 Youngstown State University Wind & Percussion Invitational in Youngstown, OH. Most recently, the Wind Ensemble was invited to perform at the 2017 NAfME All-Eastern Division Conference in Atlantic City, NJ. The Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Mr. Tim Daniels.
