2018 Bands of America Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship-Send Off Information  Wednesday, October 17, 2018
-Please follow ALL rules and guidelines that were put in place so all sections are doing the same thing. That's what band is about-  being in unison, consistent, and send offs are no different.

-Please keep in mind this sendoff is for the sake of The BAND/GUARD MEMBERS ONLY- and these students are interested in TWO things- 1) Eating after practice & 2) getting a treat bag for the bus! They are not worried about decor or whose section is doing what- the only Competition is on the field at Delaware Stadium, and we are here to support our students; and we know they will bring it- just like they did last year!

I will be in the cafeteria at 730P, (There is another function in the cafeteria until this time) Parent section liaisons will have the snack bags set up on their tables. Please drop off your snack donation at your section table between 730p- 815p.

After rehearsal, please join us in the cafeteria for a cookie reception to show support for our band/guard members. (We usually clap for the students when they arrive in the cafeteria and we line up to watch the Drum line cadence in!)

The kids will take their treat bags and put them in their band lockers and everything is wrapped up/cleaned up before 10.

I am need of cookies for the sendoff on Wed 10/17. Anyone willing to donate a dozen, please bring to rehearsal on Monday 10/15 or at the beginning of rehearsal on Wednesday 10/17. Please keep in mind, we have over 150 students plus their families/friends that will partake. Any cookies remaining will be packaged and taken with us to Delaware.

Any questions or concerns please let me know.

Uniform Cleaning

Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered to wash pants this week for the mid-season washing.  We had such an incredible response from our Band Families that we didn't have enough pants for all the volunteers.  We really do appreciate all the help and offers to help - what an amazing group of parents!
Thank you as well to Matt Waszkiewicz, Rick Baldridge, Megan Scott, and Tristan Eddy!  We would not have been able to get the overlays and gauntlets prepped for send out to the cleaners without their help Saturday night after the festival.
Thank you again!

Thank You for Festival Bake Sale

The bake sale at the festival was a sell-out!  Thanks so much to the families that donated such wonderful cookies. There were many compliments on your donations.

A special thank you to Caroline Scott for the eye-catching Baroque-n cookies!  The volunteers who set up the booth and saved the cookies in the storm deserve much gratitude.   Thank you to Michele, Chris, and Samantha for helping in the booth.

Our next request for bake sale items will be for the craft fair.

Concession Stand Volunteers/Donations Needed

Thank you to everyone that has volunteered so far to help out in the concession stand.  Your help has been greatly appreciated.
