Visual Camp #2
Our second visual camp will be Monday, July 23rd from 3:00 – 9:00 PM. This rehearsal is for all wind and percussion students in the band. Dinner will be from 5:15 – 6:00 PM. Please be sure that your student either packs a meal or someone delivers one to them at 5:15. Contact Mr. Daniels if you have any questions.
Band Car Wash
The Band Car Wash is coming up on Saturday, July 28th! ALL STUDENTS are expected to help out at one of the three locations for a few hours. Please sign up for a time in the Band Room no later than Monday, July 23rd.
Band camp is right around the corner! Below is our schedule for Band Camp this year:
Monday, July 30th – Friday, August 3rd
12:00 PM – 8:30 PM (*dinner is from 4:15 – 5:00 PM)
Monday, August 6th – Friday, August 10th
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (*lunch is from 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM)
*Students should pack a lunch or have one delivered at the scheduled time.
5th Annual Norwin Band Mattress Fundraiser
Join us on Saturday, August 4th from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM in the Norwin High School Band Room for our 5th Annual Mattress Fundraiser! For one day, the Band Room will become a large mattress showroom, with dozens of brand-name, high quality mattresses for sale at deep discounts. PLUS, a large portion of each sale benefits the Norwin Band! Please spread the word to your friends, family, neighbors, and community members. Chances are that SOMEONE you know needs a mattress!
As of June 1st, we have officially transitioned to a new Google calendar for all Band events! Please be sure to check out this new calendar today and sync it with the calendar on your devices. ALL events for the summer/fall marching band season and many events for the 2018-2019 school year, including tentative dress rehearsal and concert dates, have already been added. Please continue to check the calendar often for updates!
